What will I experience on this tour?
On the Golden Circle and Blue Lagoon Tour, you’ll experience the must-see attractions from our Golden Circle classic tour, plus the added luxury of the Blue Lagoon!
Your day will start with an easy pickup at Tour Bus Stop 12 in Reykjavík (additional stops available for an extra fee). Your local guide will be on hand all day to help you make the most of your experience and share some fascinating stories and info.
Our first Golden Circle attraction on the itinerary is Þingvellir National Park (or Thingvellir National Park). Stand on the historic ground where the Icelandic Commonwealth was first formed, and where two tectonic plates meet.
Next on our list of Golden Circle stops, witness the hot spring geysers of Geysir and Strokkur at one of Iceland’s geothermal areas. Now-dormant Geysir is best known for giving us the word “geyser” in English.
Strokkur, on the other hand, is still very active, with frequent 20-meter high eruptions – so keep an eye (and an ear) out!
Then you’ll have the chance to admire Gullfoss falls, one of Iceland’s most
beautiful waterfalls. If you catch the right light, you’ll see why its name
means “Golden Waterfall.”
You’ll also have the chance to admire the contrasting colors of the Kerið volcanic crater, with its deep red and black slopes and milky blue water.
Finally, the most relaxing stop of the day: enjoy a blissful soak in the waters of the Blue Lagoon spa. This natural geothermal spa will soothe you with its warm, turquoise waters, the perfect ending to a day of adventures.
We won’t blame you if you drift off to sleep on the bus back to Reykjavík!

What should I bring?
For your comfort: Dress to be ready for any weather! The weather in Iceland can be changeable, so it’s important to wear/bring warm, waterproof clothes, especially in winter. We recommend a waterproof jacket and pants, hat and gloves, warm socks and waterproof shoes.
