Where Was This Image Captured?
This photo was taken near Akureyri in northern Iceland. The road is heading east towards Goðafoss Waterfall and Húsavík.
This road used to be part of the Ring Road, but was replaced with a tunnel a few years ago.
Most roads outside Reykjavík City only have one lane in each direction, just like this one. During the summer, you have to be careful of the sheep that graze on the roadsides, as sometimes they will suddenly try to cross the road!
Can you spot a sheep with her baby lamb grazing in this picture?
