Brothers and Sisters
During the summer, it’s very common to come across Icelandic sheep wandering freely around the countryside.
These two lambs were spotted in the company of their mother, eating grass along the roadside in western Iceland.
Lambs never go far from their mother. If they lose sight of her they start to bleat, making a high-pitched sound. The mother hears it and responds so that the lambs know where she is and can rush back to her.
